Pls provide documentation senior was at the hospital..or listed his name and the word African race on a birth certificate..

The word African race did not exist in 1961 Hawaii.

Hawaii states the race of the child reverts to the father if the child is mixed race.

There were 116 Negro male babies born in Hawaii in 1961. Please show us the birth of an African race baby born in 1961 Hawaii.

Can't. I don't know if he was there. It could have been SAD who supplied that race. They were supposedly married. I'd guess she honored his wishes on how he wanted to be listed.

Irrelevant. "American" isn't a race either, but there's a real Hawaiian BC with "American" listed as the father's race and "Hawaiian" as the mother's. There's a mixed race child.

See my homepage for details about Kenyans specifying their race as "African" in the 1962 census. "African" is what Senior would've considered himself.
