Tucson Superintendent Backs Down From Plan to Change Radical Curriculum

Tucson has long been radically leftist Democrat. So in their schools they set up this program, officially assigned to a credentialed teacher, but taught by non-credentialed racist extremists from La Raza (’The Race’), and the Aztlan movement, which wants to either return the US southwest to Mexico, or create a new, Hispanic ruled country from it.

The classes taught are leftist Mexican history and culture, with a strong anti-American and antisemitic element to them. America is portrayed as racist against Mexicans, and Mexicans and Mexican-Americans as second class citizens used as slaves. But it also teaches secession, and to prepare for violent revolt against the US government.

Of late, these classes were both mandatory, and have become so controversial that teachers are refusing to be responsible for them. The State legislature has passed a bill outlawing them as racist, and threatened to cut off any State funding for them.

I can understand a school (being run by Dims) making an ethnic studies course a requirement, but only if it studied multiple ethnicities — Irish, Scottish, Welsh, German, Polish, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, etc. — in which case Latin America would get maybe a week’s coverage. Covered objectively, that course could be justified. Maybe.

A propaganda course is another matter. Teaching blacks they are still victims of racism, or Latinos that they are oppressed second class citizens living in occupied territory goes way beyond the pale for a required course.

It’s numbers. You don’t have to change when your entire culture moves north with you. My city went from being a typical American suburb to being 60% foreign born in less than 20 years. The FM radio dial now seems to be about half foreign language broadcasts.

Oh, this happens more than you realize in California and the results are explosive. But thug culture is on the losing side of this demographic war over turf.
