Conservative radio talk show host and best-selling author Laura Ingraham got tongues wagging in Texas today when she declared that Rick Perry is running for president in 2012.
Ingraham was doing an interview with conservative Indiana congressman Mike Pence when she let loose with her Perry scoop. According to the conservative blog Ace of Spades HQ, Ingraham revealed that she knows someone very connected to Perry, and that guy says hes in.
OK, no named sources here. And this is third hand gossip, at best. But what the hay? Ingraham has been a big Perry fan for a long time. He appeared on her show to bash President Obama, federal immigration policy, perceived federal Texas-bashing and the federal response to Texas wildfires.

Twenty times NO!!!!!!!!
Tell me why. I don’t remember why so many Freepers don’t like Perry. Rush seems to like the idea of a Perry candidacy.
Some people want perfection, I will settle for zeros defeat by a 90% conservative.
We don’t need another RINO/G.W.Bush type in the White House. Enough is enough.
Palin/Cain OR Cain/Palin in 2012.
WHY?????
Is this the same Rush that made Debra Medina appear to be a truther during her bid for the governors seat?
Hos is that immigration thing working out Gov. Good Hair?
hos = how
Perry has his faults, but he’s electable, articulate (albeit with a Texas accent)and a proven campaigner.
The rest of the present field doesn’t have a snowball’s chance, IMO.
I hope Perry gets in, he will make a good addition to the field.
What about the trans-Texas Corridor????
I got the impression Mark Levin (in one of his radio broadcasts a week or two ago) was interested Perry running for president too... I didn't hear the whole segment though.
He knows the TTC was steppin in it. Gotta keep the pressure on him.
In the big picture, better Goodhair than Hussein the Obamanation
So far, there is only one person against illegal immigration and amnesty. That would be Michele Bachmann. The rest of them aren’t good on the issue.
Interesting. So everyone here much prefers Mitt Romney to Rick Perry who is helming a vital state with low unemployment and no PerryCare. Everyone agrees that it’s Mittens’ turn. Or is it that Tim Pawlenty is so very exciting?
he is not doing anything period about immigration.
