A quart of Ripple out of a Mason jar would have been appropriate for the Jefferson’s.

It's my own invention of Muscatel and Ripple. I call it Muscapipple.

“Finally, after two straight presidents who didn’t appreciate the taste of a fine French burgundy, Buckingham Palace tonight had a chance to put on the Ritz for a first family who enjoy a long dinner and luscious wine.”

Maybe next week the Queen can invite over obama’s kenyan granny and other relatives who live in Council Housing, and serve wine out of a box.

Cheesy posers wouldn't know a 1000 dollar burgundy from a twenty dollar burgundy. They just relish the idea of sucking down costly wine on someone else's tab. Next they will ask to be turned loose in a candy store.

"After two straight presidents..."? Is Paul Bedard trying to insinuate that BHO isn't "straight"?

Why is the British monarch serving French wine when Australia and New Zealand produce perfectly decent wines? Even Canada has a wine-producing district (near Niagara Falls).

I was going to say Mad Dog 20-20 (in a brown paper bag), but Ripple is just fine!

"Finally, after two straight presidents..."

Is the author implying that Obama's not straight? :)
