Of course we need conservatives, and the more conservative the better.
But there aren't enough of us.
Too often the choice is not conservative versus Democrat, but rather, a "moderate" Republican, who will vote with us maybe 70% of the time, versus a flaming liberal who will never vote with us.
So, when the choice is 70% support versus 0%, how insane do I have to be to help elect the 0?
How much more insane do I have to be to do it a second time?
I agree, if Mitt is the candidate, then we've already lost a lot.
But if we help reelect the President, then we will have lost a lot more.
YAWN.....same ol' RINO's will never get the job done OR get the message.
Dream on, and vote "RINO".
Push “the lesser of two evils”, on this forum, if you think Romney is the lesser and see how long you last.
I'm not "pushing" Romney, and will not vote for him in the primaries.
But in a general election, he could not be a worse choice than reelecting the gang who won in 2008, and that's just what you'd do by voting third party.
Third parties always elect Democrats -- it's how we got Bill Clinton in 1992, and most recently a new Democrat Congresswoman from a normally safe Republican district in NY.
So, if you want to elect Democrats, vote Third Party.
The "job" which is getting done now is the liberal Democrats' socialist agenda.
To stop it, in primary elections we vote for the most conservative candidates available.
But there's only one message that matters in the general election: if you vote Third Party, then you are helping to reelect liberal Democrats.
That cannot be sane.
