The other day I saw your post about a photo of you on the hood of a Hudson. Having chatted with my Aunt Gloria about the photos that were taken (with a Kodak 8mm, standard issue for parents and grandparents in those days), and having some old photos of me and my brother sitting on the hoods of a '47 Dodge, a '49 Olds and a '46 Packard, I gotta ask.....
Why were we photographed as hood ornaments?
