Someone pointed out Obama’s signature looks like a bunny rabbit lying on his back, who just loosened his belt over his ginormous rabbit belly... OR is it me, or does his signature look like he is giving the finger to the world?

I’m guessing the date is more a Freudian issue. He’s finding 2011 harder and harder to handle, so his subconscious is casting back to a better time. 2008 was the year of unquestioning adulation and hero-worship. Barry wishes he was there again. His gaffe couldn’t be any clearer—it was an, ‘I’m so screwed in ‘11, let’s set the clock back three years’ moment for sure.
Otoh, I’m also guessing his brain is misfiring on other fronts as well. He’s got an addictive-dysfunctional disorder, and he’s feeding the beast somehow. By some accounts he’s overdone it on the alcohol. I’m betting some of his inner circle procures other mind altering substances as well. He openly admitted to using cocaine, and he’s been a long time heavy smoker. These things add up.
If Barry has many, or even any, off-teleprompter moments as ‘12 approaches, it could spell disaster for him. He stumbled all over the place in the past, when he didn’t have his little screens to help him along. It will will almost certainly only get worse in the future. If the GOP can avoid splitting the party with a total loser, there’s no way Barry can win a second term, imho.
That would be some mighty serious jet lag!
Yes, the ‘ancestral’ bit makes him sound like a fabled king in a fantasy novel. Leave it to the MSM to go so far overboard w’out blushing.
I think he’s had a “psychic break” from reality and it may be permanent. It’ll be hard to use against him w the msm covering his every move. He could gaffe a day and it wouldn’t be important to them. He’s starting to make biden look intelligent.
Eventually he’ll have to debate someone. A primary challenger, if he has one, or at a minimum his GOP opponent. The MSM will help him all they can, but if his brain is melting down, they won’t be able to cover it sufficiently. People will catch on, and Barry will be one and done.

He probably thinks that 2008 is the Queen’s Regnal Gregorian Lunar Leap Year, or such.
Interestingly, Wikipedia lists the current year as 2003-2004 according to the Ethiopian Calender.
I don’t doubt that some WH flak will announce that it’s 2008 in some calendar system that is dear to the Leader’s childhood.
Last week he was telling Israel it is 1967.
