You’d think at least there would have been one cop on site.
I’ll have to look and see if any NYPD officers are out
on patrol around there (as opposed to standing around
staring into space at the subway “bag check” tables)
Moreover, detailing police to protect one area has its
drawbacks; ISTR reading that the St Louis police drained
the area where the elderly Vietnamese was beaten to death
to guard an upscale restaurant/entertainment area elsewhere.
The moral should be obvious.
