I agree we’ll need to wait to see how it plays out, but my original point was we have to wait. All we had initially was a carefully choreographed communcation from the prosecution.
Remember a prosecutor can indict a ham sandwich, so I don’t put much faith in anything they say.
This weekend we are seeing a masterful job of media manipulation by the defense. They planted this story on Friday morning, and they have four days all to themselves, with their story being repeated at the top of each news hour as the skeleton staff of every media outlet recycles the same story over and over again. Then they feed even more thinly sourced material, annd outright lies on subsequent days, and there is no fact-checking at all. By Tuesday morning, they will have constructed an entire alternate reality.
This is what unlimited funds can buy a defense, and it's worth every penny. A true tour de force.<\I>
