Mullah Omar, the top leader of the Afghan Taliban, is shown in this undated photo sometime before October 2001

He probably changed his hidey hole and instituted a 100% association blackout so that he can’t be tracked by any of the Bin Laden raid intel.

If no on knows where Mullah Omar is, then how do we know he has “disappeared?”

Sounds like Omar was really spooked by the way the SEALs got Osama. Now this pathetic little diversion, designed to get us to stop looking for him, which will fool no-one with at least half a brain.
Look inside Pakistan, our “great ally”, if you want to find the Taliban leaders.

First of many in the run up to 2012 election...the Mullah Omar’s and Zawahiri’s of the world will be the first to be reported and if polling continues to be as poor for Barry as it is I would expect that the confirmed bodies of Adolf Hitler and Jimmy Hoffa are announced found right before election time... ;)
Hope this POS is gone though!

RE: bring me the head of that one-eyed fat man, then you can declare him dead
By this criteria, Osama Bin Laden cannot be declared dead. Where’s his head?

More like he cut off all contact and fled fearing dark helicopters approaching his residence in the middle of the night.

Thanks SeekAndFind.
...has disappeared in the past five days, a spokesman for Afghanistan's National Directorate of Security, Lutfullah Mashal, said Monday... "Our sources and senior Taliban members confirm that they can't contact him," Mashal said, adding that Omar had been living in Quetta, Pakistan, for 10 years. The Afghan Taliban forcefully denied reports their leader is dead, dismissing them as "claims and rumors" from the "Kabul stooge regime's intelligence directorate... "is alive and well and is leading the Mujahideen in all aspects while living safely with reliance on Allah," he said. Pakistan's Interior Rehman Malik also denied that Omar was dead, saying in a press conference that the claims were "baseless."
Hey, if anyone would know, it would be an official from Pakistan.
Two possibilities, IMHO. 1) the Taliban fed fake info back to the Afghans through suspected spies, in order to identify leakers, and the Afghans helped them out, or B) the Afghan regime wants to downplay the threat posed by the Taliban pursuant to a negotiated settlement (which the Taliban will of course violate).

"How should I know? I'm not concerned with it," Gen. Hamid Gul said on IBN television. The original news report suggesting Monday that Omar was dead, by Afghanistan's TOLOnews, quoted NDS spokesman Meshal as saying that Gul was moving him when he was killed. "Am I supposed to be transporting him from Quetta to Waziristan? It's nonsense," he said by telephone from Islamabad.
