Last Saturday, Mike Huckabee took himself out of the presidential race on his Fox News show. This Saturday, Tim Pawlenty, who will formally announce his campaign in Iowa on Monday, was a guest on the show.
Next Saturday, it will be Herman Cains turn.
And Cains campaign has high hopes for the appearance.
"It certainly doesn't constitute an endorsement, but we're excited for the opportunity to reach 3 million new viewers with his program," Cain spokeswoman Ellen Carmichael said. "A lot of them are looking for new home when it comes to 2012.

WEATHER ALERT! Batten down the hatches boys! We be in for a HERMANCAIN!
PINGANATOR!!!!
You know, a Palin and Cain combo might not too bad.
As things stand what I’d like to see is a West/Cain ticket.
I could go for that. And what a nightmare that would be for the democRAT party who shamelessly and regularly exploits the millions of blacks who automatically vote democRAT.
Well, look at liberal Politico writing up a positive piece of Cain. The clueless will be obviously to the tactic and others will have no problem with deception as long as it’s for their guy. Cain will be the new McCain - the liberal media’s golden boy.
When Cain gets in the trenches like Palin has for 2.5 years possibly. Conservatives don’t bow just to promises - that’s the barry voters mentality.
From what others are saying about him, he has Republican cred. Not just anti-Obama cred.
We’ll see if Cain is overly copacetic with Huck, or if he’s not afraid to stand out and stand tall.
“You know, a Palin and Cain combo might not too bad.”

Right now, conservatives would be thrilled just to see a candidate whose proposals clearly showed he (or she) understood what they wanted.

To see the bummer in chief Cained and then im-Palined...
Well maybe this conservative is harder to please and demands more - this time I don’t pull a lever for anyone who hasn’t already demonstrated - they aren’t afraid of speaking out loudly against Barry and suffer the media backlash for months and months on end. No guts for backlash - they don’t deserve any glory to sit in the Oval office.
It’s separates the rino’s with their politic speak promises from the Conservative who fights the enemy at every turn.
So far the only one who has fought non stop in the trenches is Sarah. Wusses are a dime a dozen and the GOP are full of them. I don’t want to see a resume where it benefited them and their pockets - I want to see what you already did for Our Country and how you survived enemy attack. Not a person with ‘keep it friendly’ attitude to avoid bad press.
Personally I love Sarah Palin and would be thrilled to see her as the next President — but if it doesn’t happen, if her calculus calculators calculate that it’s unwise to even run, well I don’t want to be one of the ones who Peroted Mr. Obama back into office.
Republican anything is not saying anything positive.
We have lots of Repubs who make promises and say all the right things. I’m looking for someone saying those things to the enemy loudly and attack them every time they open their mouth - and not to their base in the comfort zone.
No one gets my vote unless they demonstrated they deserve it and not through personal achievements. I always had the right and never exercised it - this time I am. And right now Cain has not shown anything but the opposite, IMO.
Where was he when obamacare was being passed? with his thumb in his mouth like the rest of the GOP keeping a low profile and out of range to be attacked?
I want a fighter - and one who knows they will be attacked for standing up for what is right but does it anyway. That tells me if not about them but our Country!
He agreed with Barry on not releasing the bin laden photos. Imagine that - keep away from the citizens what is their right to see. Personally, I didn’t need to see them but those who wanted to had that right. Cain thinks not.
The fact is he didn’t have to say anything about the photos but that he had no problem speaking out about because he scored points with the left. Not rocket science what many are falling for here. Too impressive by ‘rhetoric’ - like the ‘hope and change’ crowd. Just tickle my ears and you got my vote.
It sounds like to me that you want a Republican phenom, that will fire up the base and crash the Democratic strongholds with a fury unknown since the beginning of human history.
I think you want to live in a time of Republican bliss.
I hate to inform you that there isn’t anybody out there who can meet your standards. What you do need is somebody who is solidly Republican and isn’t just playing to the base.
Forget style. You need sincerity if your country is going to survive.
If I could send you Stephen Harper in a bottle, I would. He’s not flashy, but there is nobody who questions his Conservative cred and, now that he has a majority, he’s going to do many good things.
