I’m considering him my first choice at this point. Still early, and a lot can shake out between now and the primaries. But so far, I’m pleased with him.

Having been behind Fred Thompson in ‘08, I’m a little gun shy...

I too supported Thompson and I have to say that if Fred have put half the energy in to his run that Cain is putting in we wouldn't had gotten saddled with the Marxist Kenya Usurper.

Herman Cain, unlike some candidates or maybe candidates (Romney, Palin, Huntsman, Daniels), was AT the first debate, and blew the doors off based on the Luntz focus group followup. He sold me too in that debate. He’s #1, Palwenty #2. You wont have a Fred Thompson issue. The issue/test will be his impact versus other ‘tea party’ candidates. The establishment will want someone else, simply because he’s not an insider.

Herman Cain for President
