So...what happens when he doesn’t get the approval and he does what he feels like anyway? Can we throw the bum out? Please, oh please?!

No president has recognized the War Powers Act as being legitimate. Congress should do the right thing and cut the funding for this unneeded involvement in a foreign country’s civil war.

A spokesman for House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said the House GOP had not made a decision yet on the president's request. We received the Presidents letter but have yet to see the draft resolution it mentions. No decisions will be made until such a review takes place and we discuss the matter with our members, Michael Steel said. What? LOL they've had sixty days to prepare for this. Boehner missed a great opportunity to say emphatically that Republicans do NOT support this farce in Libya.
To: Libloather
Congress should say NO. They won’t because they’re cowards.

Senators Kerry, McCain, Levin, Feinstein, Graham, and Lieberman, Thats bipartisan? Actually, it's tripartisan. Lieberman is an Independant. Why am I not surprised that Obama didn't know that?

That’s what this war in Libya is about — it’s all about Obama. It’s ALWAYS about Obama. He’s the king, the messiah, the ruler, the all-seeing, all-knowing king of kings. And of course, he’s running for re-election; so he needs something to prove what a great leader he is.
It’s long past time someone takes him down. Would be nice if it were Congress, but I doubt anyone in that body has the balls. I just hope we still have a free United States of America by the time November, 2012 rolls around.
