Cnn actually did a nice job posting the money behind this guy, however, way up in double digit millions, at least some of which has, OH MY, disappeared along with Camping apparently....no one can find him today and hmm, all that money was sent to him.
I do think Christ would condone the pointing out that people were harmed and ripped off by this man. There are some studies showing high suicide rates for those who have been sucked into apocalypse plans such as this one.
False prophets indeed, and false prophets who wrecked the lives of others who bought into them, and who made big money in the process. NOTHING Christ-like about this behavior. Scoffing is the least of my feelings toward Camping. Loathing is more appropriate.
A question for you: Do you know the man or anything about Family Stations, or are your opinions rooted solely within the context of this May 21st fiasco?
