I would like to think so, but, sadly I don’t. Our narcissist-in-chief doesn’t possess the capacity to lose his self-belief, by the very definition of clinical narcissism. He does, however, have enormous capacity for rage and revenge. Bibi will need to be on high alert for the foreseeable future.
The left doesn’t like a loser, which gives them even more incentive to make sure he isn’t perceived as one. Already, from what I’m reading today, the MSM television news sources are acting like Netanyahu’s speech barely happened, and certainly was of no import. The news is going to be all bread and circuses until Netanyahu is safely back in Israel where he doesn’t have as big of a microphone. I think the IMF guy, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, came at the perfect time for the MSM to entertain the masses.
I think Netanyahu has demonstrated the perfect way to dismantle and expose little Barry for the spoiled child that he is. I just wish I saw someone waiting in the wings of the GOP who had half of Bibi’s intellect, gravitas, deep background, and fearlessness.
I hope you get a chance to see a replay of Netanyahu’s speech soon. It was a thing of wonder.
