What she said was "I think the proposal of taking the 1967 border and of considering the exchange of territory -- considering it and not dogmatically adhering to it -- would be a good and manageable path." At least that's the Reuters translation. Not exactly the return of the Third Reich.

How about the Golan Heights? Do the Syrians get that as a freebie? When Obama says Israel must return to 1967 borders the Arab Muslims interpret this as — “Obama means we get all the West Bank, most of Jerusalem and we get the Golan Heights. Our Muslim brother Obama has finally come through for us”

Can you blame the Muslims for thinking this? Obama likes it too because it leaves Israel defenseless.
