What about the Pimp Busters?

Those folks? I think they can be a bit obnoxious at times but they mean well.

To carry your farmer theme a little further...

A few of the farmer's friends noticed the greedy neighbor's
signs cluttering up the roadside fenceline. Knowing that the
farmer and the other folks that worked there were busy with the
running of the farm, these few of the farmer's friends decided
to take down some of these signs. In fact, sawed them up and
tossed them over the fence back onto the greedy neighbor's property.

In the case of blog pimp flameouts, I have a better analogy.

The blog pimps are like someone who sneaks into the farmer's cornfield and puts in a marijuana patch.

And when the farmer finds the patch, pulls the plants out by the roots and tosses the plants into the neighbor's yard, the neighbor gets all mad and calls the cops to complain.

With predictable results.
