Al Gore Denounces Rupert Murdoch's 'Abuse of Power'
By Adam Martin

Al Gore and Rupert Murdoch have never been best friends, but now they're locked in a very public clash, at the root of which sits Keith Olbermann, who recently joined Gore's Current TV. Gore took a swipe at Murdoch in the press today, telling the Guardian that it was an "abuse of power" for the News Corporation magnate to force his left-leaning Current TV off the air in Italy because it didn't fit his "idealogical agenda."
Current got the abrupt word three weeks ago that the digital satellite TV station Sky Italia, which is owned by News Corp., would no longer carry the news and documentary channel because it had hired Keith Olbermann, who has criticized News Corp. in the past. Yep. Rupert’s pipe, Rupert’s call.
The term, abuse of power is usually used in the context of elected or appointed officials of government. Al doesn’t seem to understand that.
Yet, I don’t recall big Al having a problem with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation blacklisting Fox News and any other conservative media programming.
Is he looking more and more like the dumb Baldwin or is it the other way around?
Is Al still not satisfied with his massage?
Critical to the left that issues not be discussed.
"Knock Wood"
Having to listen to Al at all is abuse of power.
OMG all 2 of their Italian viewers must just be heart broken? *s*
Al Gore, please see The Boston Herald v White House.
Wow apparently there is controlling legal authority and Gore-Olbermann just got it dumped on them.
...and here I thought they were removed from the airways because Italy instituted tighter pollution controls.
This picture would be perfect if you dressed him in the uniform of the National Socialist Party. He is a power hungry thug without the stones or talent to “achieve”. He demands and does not earn. His minor success is a testament to the cowering fools who hired him and the moocher class that actually listens to his propaganda.
