The Tucson Unified School District superintendent in the middle of a push to have a radical Mexican-American studies class changed to an elective, has now backed down from his position, even going as far as to issue an apology. The change follows two wild demonstrations at consecutive school board meetings, one in which students chained themselves to desks, and another in which the riot police were called in.
...
Superintendent John Pedicone told local station KOLD-TV that he sent a letter to UNIDOS the radical student group opposing the change and the Mexican American Studies Community Advisory Board saying he has now advised the TUSD governing board to table and not consider the resolution to make Mexican American Studies an elective. (Quote is not Pedicones, but rather KOLDs.)
For now.
You stupid parents. Can't you understand how brilliant they really are? We should just let them indoctrinate our kids! *rolls eyes*
“We are living in the age of insanity.” - George Putnam.
The mob wins round one.
Violence and threats of violence are always a winner for the left.
It sounds like the revolution already happened and an effort to turn it back a little bit was met with illegal demonstrations and threats. That effort at reform has now been stopped.
Funny. That kind of demonstration would have change my mind from making it an elective to striking it from the curriculum altogether.
what next? Will Bill Ayres be teaching bomb making? These are radical classes folks. They teach and enforce the hate of America and the hate of white people by Mexicans.
It wouldn’t be so surprising. After all, the islamderthals are heavily involved in this. They may not be able to convince adults to blow themselves up but they’re working on the kids.
Ping!
Will stay as a required course, even though doing so is against Arizona law...
For now is right. Like the fictional Tusken Raiders, “they’ll be back and in greater numbers.”
What are you saying?! Looks like "The Revolution" - takeover by Mexico - is winning hands down.
Did you miss the part where the limp wrist gave in??
