Jewbacca and dennisw are correct that few people in the real, not politically obsessed, world (that's us) are aware of Rev. Wrights positions.

More important, it was not only not a political issue, but the GOP and the Republican Presidential candidate assured us that it wasn't an issue, that he was a regular American just like us.

Obama and McCain were on the same page as to his mainstream American status.

I understand that, but it also explains why many freepers express frustration with that demographic’s determination to vote the way they do.
