Underlying a significant if not virtually all of the stupid Jews type commentary on FR is acceptance of the classic antisemitic canard of dual loyalty.
  1. Right so a lot of Freepers think American Jews have divided (dual) loyalties. Implication always being Jews will be more loyal to Israel than America.
  2. But they can still find ways to criticize American Jews for not voting against Obama and Democrats because they are anti Israel
  3. To be fair---
  4. many freepers could care less about Israel
  5. They just want American Jews to vote conservative
  6. since they voted Obama last time they get to scapegoat Jews for Obama's election
  7. I think it has been shown that in every state with a large Jewish population, Obama won it with a large enough margin that the Jewish vote was not what allowed Obama to win
  8. This would be states such as Florida, New York, California

Yes, but amongst that minority the attempt isn't made by persuading on the issues, Israel not being high on most lists, rather amazement that the Jews aren't voting the way they should, for Israel's "benefit", rather than the issues related to America. On which we may all disagree. 7.I think it has been shown that in every state with a large Jewish population, Obama won it with a large enough margin that the Jewish vote was not what allowed Obama to win 8.This would be states such as Florida, New York, California

True in the last election, could have made a difference in 2000 had a few hundred more Jews voted for Gore and the near first Jewish VP. Of course as "large" states, both California and Florida are well under 4%. California, like states like Illinois and Nevada doesn't have enough Jews to even register on the exit polls. Which are based almost entirely on a NE sample plus southern Florida.
