That's prime. A fortified island surrounded by a large body of water has been regarded as one of the choicest spots to defend against humanoid invasion, more or less.

Your pontoon raft would be 'less' in this case, but only compared to the following example of 'more':

Zombies wouldn't have a flippin' chance against that fortification, presuming you cleared the keep of any zombies (probably just tourists) which may be inside.

During zombie outbreaks, at least as many people die from "natural causes", such as exposure, as from being devoured by the walking dead. You're a prime candidate. But, in your favor, you'd never have to worry about where to go potty.
