“Staff for Bowen on Tuesday night noted that 9,811 votes remained to be counted. “We are confident Debra Bowen will be in the runoff,” campaign manager Dan Chavez said in a statement. Bowen is the state’s top elections official.”

It is not who votes, it is whom counts the votes that is important.

Thanks for posting. I voted for Huey yesterday, didn’t see anything about this in local news this a.m., no surprise.

I wonder how many sheeple are aware we have been without representation in the 36th since mid-February, when Harman announced her resignation. Sure, it was “effective” as of the end of month, but she was “effectively” long gone.

We may not have representation until mid-late July either, due to the anticipated run-off.

This would be a huge blow to Bowen if she’s pushed out. This “top two” thing makes me ill.
