Every interview I’ve seen with the guy, he is smart, plain spoken and brutally honest. And he hates DC.

I would love to see him enter the race.

Coburn would be much better than Rick Perry at entering the race. I saw a townhall meeting by way of CSpan where his kindness labeled Nancy Pelosi as, “...she’s a nice lady”, which didn’t go over very well with his audience but he won his re-elect with 65% of the vote. He tried to pal up Obama when a senator for all the good it did, but now that he has been b!&@+ slapped on more than one occasion he has been a better steward of his outreach to the marxists.

That organization of congressmen/women who pray together held up some fallen colleague who had to resign, and msm has tried to use that against Coburn and the others. I think that is the worst they have dug up on him, that he is a devout evangelical.

I guess I feel like he doesn’t hate DC. He still thinks the solution to our problem lies in DC. If he brought his plain spoken leadership back home, and helped formulate a state based opposition to DC, we (Oklahoma) could be prosperous. Instead, he’s happy being the lone voice of reason in an environment that will never take his side.
