I know exactly how you feel.
This last weekend, we got around an inch and a half of rain and we’re looking at two to three inches tonite through Saturday.
Ain’t so much rain?
When you’re talking about an area that has a TOTAL yearly rainfall average of 12 inches, this is almost Biblical.
Can’t decide if I should start looking for an old guy with a bunch of animals in an ark or not......
LOL! We have more than 8 inches above normal rainfall so far this season. It must be Global Warming, or Bush’s fault; either one.
Speaking of which, our local radio station plays as a promo a clip from Hannity in which he is going through a litany of all the things that liberals are continually blaming on Bush. “If the dog bites, it’s Bush’s fault. If the bee stings, it’s Bush’s fault. If you get drunk, it’s not Jack Daniels’ or Budweiser’s fault, it’s Bush’s fault.”
“If you get pregnant, then it’s probably, . . . well, Bill Clinton’s fault.”
Our average is 11 inches, but so far this year we've had (according to my rain gauge) exactly 2.68". I'll bet that in 100 years or so, smart Americans will have figured out how to transport excess rain to the places that need it, but I wish they could do it today! Then the midwest wouldn't be drowning and we wouldn't be losing thousands of trees to drought.
