Classic Obama straw man rhetoric. In fact, nobody says any such thing but pretending that "some people" (hint - those rich racist Republicans) do gives our brave President the opportunity to boldly refute them.
I thought that was absurd too.
I have never heard anyone say that schools in the ghetto, or schools serving mostly minority students, “just aren’t supposed to succeed in America”. Where the heck does he get his quotes from?
And will anyone ever call him on that, to give an example of who ever said that such schools just aren’t supposed to succeed?
