The next step in the rebuilding of the Republican Party in New York will come on Tuesday, May 24, in the 26th congressional district, where in the special election to fill the seat from which Christopher Lee resigned the Sun urges a vote for Assemblywoman Jane Corwin. This special election should be a Republican slam dunk, but the Tea Party is backing a former Democratic candidate, Jack Davis, who is funding his own campaign and could siphon enough votes from Mrs. Corwin to lead in this Republican district to the election of the candidate of the Democratic-Working Families combination, Kathy Hochul, the clerk of Erie County.

The Tea Party Express went on the attack Monday against third-party candidate Jack Davis in the special election for ex-Rep. Chris Lee's (R-N.Y.) House seat. Leaders of the group were in Rochester to endorse Republican Jane Corwin in a tight three-way race against Democrat Kathy Hochul and Davis, who's running under the "Tea Party" banner. At a morning event in the district, Tea Party Express Chairwoman Amy Kremer labeled Davis "a phony." Looks like there’s some political silliness going on in upstate NY.
It is these douche bags who are the problem: The Tea Party Coalition of Western New York. They recruited and are backing Davis (a democrat). They don’t seem to be a fake group, but they seem to be some lame ass libertarians in a petty fight over who got input on who the candidate should be.
I thought this paper went out of business severa years ago. When did it return?
