Iowa's importance is because it's FIRST..it generates news..dominates..I think the process...having the candidates traipse around the state..stand in fields, on cars..in coffee shops...it weeds them out..shapes them..but the actual turnout, and the result...isn't that significant..

Again, we agree on SC's importance this year..and moreso, as I mentioned, because Florida will probably be right behind it. Haley's very popular here...and you could easily see a scenario wherein Haley endorses the SC winner...and then Marco and Jeb and Scott also do the same...for thesame person..and that could be the ball game..

I’d rather have SC voters inspired by Haley decide the nominee than ethanol crazed Iowa caucus goers for sure.

But regardless of why Iowa is important, it is important. That’s why we have the ethanol scam to begin with.
