I am so depressed with everyone claiming that Sarah Palin is not going to run. I pray that this information is false. What I hope is that she takes a look at the candidates in June or July timeframe and decides that she has to run for the sake of the country in August or September. I really really hope she runs. We need her now more than ever.

She's going to run. Go back and watch her Madison speech again. Plus, Rebecca Mansour has instructed all the numerous grassroots support groups to join the burgeoning Organize4Palin network in all 50 states. And she just hired a top-notch Conservative foreign policy advisor and a chief of staff.

You don't do all of that and then simply decide to NOT run.

On Jon Huntsman:

"I think he's a terrific man. I think he's a high quality candidate, and he would be an outstanding nominee.

But I think he's going to have a real difficult time getting through the primaries, particularly, with Mitt Romney having a big head start and, I think, a big lead in New Hampshire; others including Tim Pawlenty being well-organized and well-underway in Iowa."

LOL

I don't know if she will run or not, but there is nothing wrong with waiting until the fall..The only ones clamoring now for her to decide are the MSM and the Dems who can't wait to start attacking her..

BTW..IMHO, if you parse Huckabee's statement closely, it wasn't Shermanesque..he could still decide to run later on..

In the interview video, Malek said Gingrich’s criticism of Ryan was “not a fatal blunder”. I stopped listening after that. He’s out of touch.

I think I could have said that. He didn’t add a thing that isn’t already common knowledge.

How can Huntsman justify running against someone he just accepted a job from? Ok to wok for, but not good enough to be Prez?

This could be said of any candidate. Of course it could have been said of the 2008 candidates with respect to Rudi Giuliani in the early going.

I think July through September is too late. I think she’s got the same deadline that Malek gave Mitch. I also think if she were going to run, she should have jumped in this week, before Michelle Bachmann jumps in.

(For those who think the Dems and MSM have had a field day with Palin’s family, I dread to think what they could trump up out of 23 now-adult foster children.)

Perhaps, but offering an opinion that Sarah is not running goes counter to what a lot of people think they already know.

Presumably Huntsman and Romney would be looking to leverage the same Mormon voter, organizer and donor base.

You don't do all of that and then simply decide to NOT run.

She dumped the two loser advisers for this new guy just so her speeches are coherent, foreign policy wise. He was Marc Theissen assistant when he was writing speeches out of the WH. Very Conservative. This is no indication that she is running. She does a lot of speeches and one would expect her to have someone on retainer for help.

There are no real indicators she is running. I am surprised at all the strange hope and faith in her run on no evidence. Bachmann is making moves to run that are fairly blatant. When she inevitably gets in, there won't be any room for Sarah. So if she is running, why wait? Any longer and Cain and Bachmann will have carved all her natural voters up between themselves and leave nothing.

So if she is running, why wait?

Jeez...it's still 18 months until the election! I've never seen such impatient people in my life.

To answer your question, here's why:

Campaign 2012: The Kabuki phase

Sarah will declare when she is ready. All the pieces of her grassroots network are quietly falling into place.

SarahPAC

Sarah Palin's Facebook Page

Palin Twibe

Organize4Palin

Conservatives4Palin

Palin TV

Team Sarah

It's all right there. Look and you will see.

I don’t know what you wanted me to see in those sites other than a Bachmann hit piece. There was no serious indications of a run anywhere in there. You can hope and dream all day long about it but with a late start in this race, where is the money going to come to stay competitive? Romney did $10.2 mill in one day. She won’t be able to do that. Did you see how long the FReepathon took this quarter? People are hurting and that includes her base. Plus Cain and Bachmann are already sucking all the oxygen out of the room with the group of people Palin needs to win primaries.

She also is giving no effort to Iowa. The GOP chairman out there last week was complaining that she isn’t doing squat there, especially if she is going to participate in the caucus. How exactly is Palin to be taken seriously by blowing off Iowa? That would be a strange new paradigm.

Let me say this again...THERE IS NO LATE START IN THIS RACE. THE ELECTION IS 18 MONTHS AWAY.

She will declare when she is ready. This time NEXT YEAR will be late.

Malek is overated and is so ate up with establishment disease that he is very out of touch. Many insiders who are honest say Palin and Huckabee both can wait before they jump in. They have pacs and fundraising bases that allow them to raise lots of cash in small donations from lots of people. They do not have to be in the early money game. They can sit on the sidelines awhile longer.

Plus , I do not see Bachmann going anywhere with her race , she is not sucking any oxygen out of anything. She has too much female Dan Quayle going on.

Agreed; she’s definitely running. I get the distinct feeling she tells people close to her to downplay her getting in.

Malek: “I haven’t talked to her in many months......”

Thus he’s got no real idea what Mrs. Palin is thinking and is just making a SWAG.

nothing to see here - move on.
