Indeed that it is....but a lot more than a "tinge" of strict theocratic maxims....they have a daily diet of it. Decpetively taught and indoctrinated heavily from birth to when they are convinced a suicide belt is the answer. But you are correct, with out the religious aspect the political aspect would fall for many.
