Not sure if I want to find out what that answer brings.
I will just stick with my nope life is good.

This is all part of the PTSD pre-screening that was recently mandated for all vets and members of the uniform services. Currently there are no pentalties for being diagnosised, some of the drugs and treatments do entail risks and may preclude or endanger CCW. (I called the VA and asked, and then stopped taking my drugs. My back-pain drug, Neurotin, is also prescribed as a mood stabilizer for PTSD patients.)
Currently, they can not take your permit in Nevada or AZ just because you have PTSD. (Again, I checked with both states and the VA Doctors in these states are not reporting the diagnosis to anyone who has access to the CCW data base) But all it would take is an executive order, and vets and military members could lose their right to bear arms, if they are diagnosed with a mental disorder.
As commander in chief, BHO has near complete control of the executive branch, military included.
But he knows he would have an insurrection on his hands of biblical proportions if he did something so stupid.
A constitutional crisis involving the military would just make BHO the public idiot he is so afraid he might become.
And it would destroy moral, just like Clinton did during the over bearing Reduction in Force of the early 1990’s. Man we were pissed off then! Reenlistment rates dropped so far that they had to add dozens of career field, in all services, to critical list, and did so for a decade.
Somebody tell that doc that knives are sharp and stoves are hot.
Not so fast, Pappy, In some states you must authorize the state to research your medical records to get a concealed carry permit. One must be careful about what you say. Also, Pappy, the word is "quashed" not "squashed." Mend your own house before you accuse others of spreading lies.
No I meant squashed as in “squashed a bug”.
What you said has nothing to do with the VA so your point is irrelevant.
So you are wrong. Please learn to accept it, apologize and move on.
Correct answer: NONE OF YOUR GD BUSINESS!
Correct answer, in surprised voice: “Why no. Of course not. How could you think that? We would never.” People who ask questions like that at the behest of the government deserve a lie in response. Teach your children well.
It looks like I would have carried without a permit.
Thanks for the info, La Lydia.(and Mike)
I got notice that my pistol permit needing renewing, so I trotted myself down to the *Public Safety* [oxymoron] bulding in Middletown [CT CCW FReepers will knowthe building I mean]
Speaking of arrogant authority figures throwing their weight around ...I get to the building for my permit...you have to go thru a metal detector in the lobby, put your keys and cell, wallet in a basket [which does not go thru a scanner like a courthouse/airport] .
Manning this sign-in table is a short, female CT State Policewoman. [I'm thinkin' she is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay tooooooooooo short to be a cop...oh well, maybe that's why she is on desk duty.[ She hands me back the basket with my stuff, I pick up the cell and key in one hand, wallet in the other.
She BARKS at me:"LET ME SEE THAT! THAT"S NOT A KNIFE IS IT?"
She grabs at my key, I pulled it way from her....I SWEAR TO G-D THIS POPPED OUT OF MY MOUTH B4 I COULD TAKE IT BACK! OMG!
I said "NO! THIS IS MY CAR KEY" GEEZUS STOP ACTING LIKE A NAZI!!!
Spun on my heel and went down the hall, glancing only long enough to see her slack-jawed. I muttered several more times,.*goddamn Nazi* under my breath.
I'm thinkin' YOU FOOL! YOU FOOL...but it just popped out, I swear! I've had enough of this crap! Knowing full well *she * has all the power.
This is what the *knife* looks like:
I concede; never argue with an arrogant numbskull.
Don’t believe lies just because you want to believe them
