Please pass this on to all the other retired guys and gun owners -- Thanks From a Vietnam Vet and retired Police Officer: I had a doctors appointment at the local VA clinic yesterday and found out something very interesting that I would like to pass along. While going through triage before seeing the doctor, I was asked at the end of the exam, three questions : 1 . Did I feel stressed? 2. Did I feel threatened? 3. Did I feel like doing harm to someone? The nurse then informed me, that if I had answered yes to any of the questions, I would have lost my concealed carry permit as it would have gone into my medical records and the VA would have reported it to Homeland Security.
Looks like they are going after the vets first. Other gun people, like retired law enforcement will probably be next. Then when they go after the civilians, what argument will they have? Be forewarned and be aware. The Obama administration has gone on record as considering veterans and gun owners potential terrorists. Whether you are a gun owner veteran or not, you've been warned.. If you know veterans and gun owners, please pass this on to them.

To each his own. I love the VA here in NE Ohio. Very caring dedicated staff. It’s quick fast & easy. Sometimes I’m in and out in 20 minutes. Compared to my previous private practice Doc’s up to 2 hour waits in the waiting room.

Actually, I read a little further after I posted my comment, and it appears that the whole things is a hoax, so VA justification is not an issue.

The military is having denunciation squads during “safety briefs” for the weekend. If you have a gun and someone rats on you that you play with them on the weekends, they will seek them from you.
They also ask if you have a bike and a gun, and for serial numbers to boot... as if the serial numbered mattered if you were considered at risk.
It does not matter if you have booze, though, nah, that’s ok to destroy yourself that way.
I have never been ask anything like that by a doc. The last VA doctor I saw spent all his time bitching about he could be playing golf.
They do for PTSD surveying many times because the question is asked as in “getting angry” or with other innocuous language and then they escalate the language... supposedly for “suicide awareness”... my arse.

The VA in Memphis, Tennessee is where they send vets to die. Almost the entire hospital is an affirmative action hell hole.

Per the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution no citizen of this nation needs gun permit.

Do I feel threatened? Yes, by the government representatives who ask these questions. It’s just plain scary.

Here in Houston, the limited experience that I’ve had with the VA was nothing to write home about.
Then again, when you see what we have in the Medical Center that surrounds this VA facility, why bother?
You just have to be aware of the fact that obama has “politicized” the VA in the same manner that he has everything else. This latest article is proof of that.

I urge people to just say no to such questions. NOYB, or any other answer such as “what does that have to do with anything?” or “GFY”, is the same as saying “YES”.
