Forgot to add that EBR Parish is now the most populous in the state with over 400,00 residents. (Source available on Official Census page). The Parishes in N.O. are not, by contrast, doing well and are declining and have declined substantially since Katrina (29% just for Jefferson Parish, I think it was?) In any event, BR is growing and has grown substantially while N.O. - not much and largely declining.
