You seemed to be overly concerned. And since they are no one of significance and the issue 'is a joke' to you don't bother. Don't click on the thread. I don't run around commenting on threads of issues that I may disagree with to disparage people. Why should you? Obama is not ever going to be propelled into a new presidential term because he showed his "birth certificate" to the world.

It in no way advances conservatism or serious conservative presidential candidates.

Well, many of us think defending the NBC clause is a conservative matter.

I comment because I consider unfounded birther conspiracy theories to be destructive to conservatism.

And if you want to argue the “Natural Born Citizen” status, why do you keep promoting the Birth Certificate is a fraud angle? Obama readily admits his father was Kenyan.

Entertaining a birther fantasy, imagine Orly arguing before the Supreme Court that Obama is not eligible because his father is a Kenyan. Scalia demands to have the document validated. The “fraudulent” birth certificate is entered as evidence. Obama is now guilty of fraud. Or it's genuine and the case continues. Either way Obama loses.

So again I ask. What is the point of birthers obsessing over the birth certificate if they are really concerned about Obama’s natural born citizen status? The birth certificate confirms the critical information.
