After reading the linked article, I’d say Mitch Daniels is just too boring and weak to beat a sitting president who can give a heck of a speach while in front of a TelaPrompter. Let’s draft Paul Ryan, young, family man, has a realistic budget plan and can talk without notes. He is good looking too!
No, Ryan's not a realistic choice. He needs to concentrate on getting that budget through...not campaigning.
Although Ryan has a good plan, it hasn't happened yet. Daniels HAS succeeded already at many things, despite the bashing he regularly gets on FR. We could do far worse than having him as our Chief Executive.
