Leukemia, anemia and several other conditions... and just did the “spit test” for Candidas this morning. Does anyone know anything about that? It appears she flunked the test...she shows positive for Candidas.
I wish I could offer you more than prayers. God bless Crystal.
It’s a severe yeast infection. It will attack the digestive system first. Steroids are required but make sure the appendix is not leaking. It will be dire pain and kill.
The immune system is overactive and will cause attack on normally regular cells. Get her to a hospital.
Let your friend know that an appendix removal may be required. How long has this been going on, if more than 2 weeks it will require at least 4 days of recovery.
Prayers going up.
Get her to the best pediatrician around ASAP.
Candida is a type of yeast which is normally present in the human body, including the mouth. There are many other micro-organisms that live in the body. They colonize our bodies and normally live in balance in and on our bodies. If there is an overgrowth of one or more of these organisms it may indicate a change in diet, body chemistry, stressed conditions, etc. Different conditions in our bodies favor the growth of some organisms over others. It's important to understand the reason for the change. It may be as simple as having undergone a round of antibiotic therapy for a bacterial infection. When we use antibiotics to kill an infection, we make it easier for yeast to thrive by reducing the competition for nutrients. Many women have had the experience of treating a urinary infection only to end up with a yeast overgrowth following the antibiotic treatment. It's sometimes called a yeast infection, but more properly it's an overgrowth or imbalance in something that is normally present in the human body.
This is a long answer, but hopefully provides a little background. Excess yeast in the mouth is called thrush. It can be quite uncomfortable. The reason needs to be understood, as it might reflect underlying illness. Our son recently developed it after being on antibiotics following surgery. He was treated with anti-fungal lozenges for about 10 days and apart from the 'yuck' factor, was just fine.
Candida albicans is a type of yeast that lives in all of us. When your immune system is working properly, the amount of Candida in your body is kept in balance. When your immune system is compromised, or other factors occur such as consuming unhealthy amounts of sugars and carbohydrates, the Candida can grow out of control. The good news is there are several highly effective and proven Candida treatments available, including the ever popular Threelac which is generally considered one of the best supplements for dealing with Candida. Here are some of the symptoms of Candida:
Frequent stomach pains and digestion problems
Skin problems (skin infections, eczema, psoriasis, acne)
Foggy brain / Trouble concentrating
Constant tiredness and exhaustion
Anxiety
Mood swings
Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
Anger outbursts
Irritability
Headaches
Intense cravings for sugars, sweets, and breads
Itchy skin
One of the best (and most popular) treatments for Candida is Threelac. One big advantage of using Threelac to treat your Candida is that you do not have to adhere to as strict a diet as you normally would.
I know that ER's overlook a lot and send you home with narcotics and fail at diagnosing unless it is surgical emergent. But tell them yeast infection that has not gone away. They can take blood for anemia, diabetes and so on.
Was she on a lot of antibiotics in the past? Did she have symptoms of a vaginal yeast infection that monistat OTC didn't cure?
She sounds anemic and possibly diabetic. But a severe Candida (YEAST) infection left untreated can cause all of this AND THEn SEVERE DIGESTIVE PROBLEMS.
She needs a doctor ASAP. There are probiotics by Renew Life that can get the GI digestive system back to normal and help cure the severe yeast infection. Do you have a organic GNC or the liking store near you?
There are online ways to buy severe yeast infection (candida) treatments and probiotics. CLICK HERE
You need to take her to the ER right now. At the very least she needs DIFLUCAN (fluconazole)- get the RX filled at Walmart it is very cheap.
