What if I do not qualify?
The Joint Oklahoma Information Network (JOIN) is a partnership between several Oklahoma state agencies that can help you find some of the government, non profit, and other services and programs for which you may be eligible. All you need to do is fill out a simple eligibility questionnaire or browse the Community Resource Directory for the resources that may be available in your community for your specific situation.
I’ve done all that. I believe the people in the DHS office are wrong, but they refuse to consider that option. The help you can receive if you don’t qualify is a once a month free clinic (the doctor wasn’t available this month so we saw the nurse mentioned earlier), and the clinic we went to the other day where they did a few tests and say “everything is ok”
Thank you for posting that, I appreciate the suggestions that I may have not known about.
