They tested for thyroid, diabetes and anemia...all came back ok. The xray came back ok and the test for infection came back ok. They don’t know what is wrong, but they are done and if I need more help, I have to find a way to pay for it. Not sure where to turn now, but I guess we just have to watch her and pray she gets better.
Well, that is SO frustrating! I know you must be upset. Every
indicator says she’s healthy and well, and your eyes tell you
a different story.
T...have y’all tested the house for carbon monoxide? It’s a
long shot...but ya never know. I would think that all of you
would be affected, though....
Does she have any food allergies that you know of? I just pray
that something will help her get better!
Were her blood cell counts normal?

They drew 3 bottles of blood, a cup of urine and did 2 chest xrays. They said everything was normal and showed no results that would point to a reason for her to be having these problems. They wouldn’t tell me what all was tested, only confirming the tests I mentioned...she claims anemia was ruled out, but her stools are showing signs of old blood (they are black).
If you have her on iron tablets that can account for the black stool.
She’s been taking iron for a little more than a week...so that’s ok?
If that is about the same time the black was noticed...it’s perfectly normal. The iron causes it. It’s scary but harmless. :)
It must be frustrating not to have definite answers. May God watch over you both as you sort out what comes next.

Thank you for your prayers. We still don’t know anything and cannot do any more tests as we were told they would be at our expense. She continues to be weak, but is trying hard to just keep going. She only has 1 week of school left...and she doesn’t want to miss it. I have been told again, there is no medical available as my income is not earned by going to work. I still don’t understand that...but who’s to question how the state sets up their system.
I am at work and don’t have the list..will do when I get home! Sorry for all the run-around you are getting! Prayer that she gains her health back!

I’m confused by the statement you’ve made that your income isn’t derived from “going to work”. Are you an independent contractor? Do you receive disability? I don’t follow why you aren’t qualifying for assistance unless you make too much money.

I lost my job in August. I get unemployment and then got cut off medical because I “receive unearned income and don’t qualify any longer”
