I like Palin, I really do. I watch her when I can when she’s on TV.
I just think that overcoming general voter disapproval ratings in the 55-65 range is about as hard as winning the Mega Millions.

It's harder to gain awareness/name recognition than it is to convert an unfavorable attitude to a favorable attitude.
All those unfavorables that Palin has piled up out there also represent awareness. Obviously, most of her unfavorables represent people who are scared to death of her and would never vote for a Republican anyway.
However, her unfavorables among independents and Republicans are largely a creation of adverse media coverage and can be readily reversed. All she has to do is gain exposure as a candidate -- and demonstrate that she's not who they've been told she is.
Understand that the MSM has almost no credibility any longer. They're easy to confront and correct. And a personal appearance by Gov. Palin would immediately alter the media-created misconceptions about her.
The fact tht Palin probably enjoys the highest awareness of any Republican candidate puts her in an extremely favorable position.
I understand what you’re saying....BUT:
The marxist media cannot hit Palin with anything new - they “shot their wad”, so to speak.
Once the GOP candidate is determined, tThe marxist media will ht them with anything and everything - even false accusations.
If Palin is the GOP candidate, she can easily convert the independents with personal appearances, debates and an advertising campaign to “correct the record”.
That Palin has the highest favorabikity rating of ALL of the GOP candidates speaks volumes of her support from the base.
Palin is THE expert on the connection between Energy, Economy, national Security and Personal Freedom - no one else comes close.
No other GOP candidate will have that level of support and, in fact, would create a 3rd party movement that would guarantee an Ozero victory.
