Bill Clinton kept all his shenanigans domestic AFAIK. He may have polluted the Oval Office but he never polluted a foreign red carpet that was rolled out for him. He knew better.
He has been seen as a potential future candidate for Prime Minister of France... This is not the first time he's been involved in a sex scandal. Back in 2008 there was a story of the IMF investigating an improper sexual relationship with a subordinate.I guess we know where the money is.

While it may have not made the news, I don't for a single moment believe that Clinton was not getting "serviced" at pretty much every stop on every trip he took.
You see, the European and Asian nations are old and sophisticated. They understand that powerful men have powerful appetites, so they ensure that such men have sufficient opportunities to discreetly meet attractive young ladies who will relieve their tensions.
It's only vulgar, uncouth uncivilized places like the USA where an important person like this would have to demean himself by requesting services from the domestic help. Services which she naturally should have been honored to provide!

This stuff is not news. It’s tabloid material. Go spend 3 grand on a room in NY. You will not be bothered.

The point is, she would have known that only fat cats can afford the room she was cleaning. She would not known about his status at the IMF unless she recognized him, had gone through his stuff, or got alerted by a cohort at the front desk. If she were interested in blackmail, his fat cat status would have been a plus, but his position at IMF and his prominence as a French pol a minus, I would think. And of course, the haste of his departure indicates he knew he’d done something wrong. Plus, getting him busted is not a good plan for collecting on blackmail.
If he is guilty then convict. I do ask for jurisprudence in this case.
True, but the media and Dems will treat these two carbon copies very, very differently. And they will do their very best to avoid references and comparisons to Clinton's multiple assaults.
