Trump Planning Independent Run? Donald Trumps long-time advisor Roger Stone tweeted today Get ready for Trump the Novermber Independent !

By Katrina Trinko
Guess ol' Rog got his thumbs tied! LOL!
that was not someone speaking FOR him. That was HIM saying it. And he was emphatic about it. I doubt he could back down from that. His own words would be used against him.
I wonder if he doesn't know now that the ‘flash’ is gone. His numbers have slipped dramatically. He may know he couldn't win as an Independent...and is feathering his nest with republicans...hence the “as a conservative”...
What I did add was “Its critically important that Obama is defeated in 2012” taken from an interview played on Greta a few weeks back.
If true Obama gets re-elected.
It does look good when politicians grimace when he farts out something..
On TV hes good..... in person not so much..
No, he loves winning.
Money is just the measurement of how big the win was.
Trump said many times that he would not run as an independent, if that meant Obama would get reelected in 2012. I don’t know what Roger Stone is trying to do with that tweet.
Another of his tweet shortly after the one mentioned:
“Huck out. Mitch not running, New pressure on Tx Gov. Perry, Trump prob goes Indy.”

Still don’t believe Trump is really planning to run as an independent.
But I am wondering about Perry — he may be the most likely one to beat Obama.
Attention: We live, for better or for worse, within a (2-)TWO-Party System. Whenever you vote for a "Third Party Candidate," history teaches us that instead of the lesser of two evils, you get the worst of three evils.
Teddy Roosevelt made sure Taft lost to Wilson. Perot made damn sure Bush lost to Clinton. If Trump is such hot stuff (and I believe he might be), let him run in Republican Primaries. Better yet, let him do for the Natural Born citizen concept what he did for the Birth Certificate, and then run in the primaries.
Where is the PROGRAM, where is the PLAN, where is the LEADER, who has a CLUE, as to how we can save the Republic, our Constitution, and our Economy? If Donald can convince us he can do that and deliver, great! He should be the Republican candidate.
I voted for Perot in 1992.
Let us pray then that your political acumen has matured over the past 20 years, because that was a damn stupid thing to have done, in both foresight and hindsight.
>> I confess. I did it. I voted for Perot in 1992.
>> I...sent...them...a...MESSAGE! Damn right I did.
I believe many also sent a message about the RINO McCain in 2008.
The road to Hell is paved with messages.
Listen to Trump, NOT Roger Stone:
Trump: Independent Run Would Bring Obama Victory
Donald Trump on weathering media attacks, bin Laden’s killing, why he’d be reluctant to run as an Independent and why the economy remains key in 2012.
Video at the link above.
Wow it took 74 posts before someone brough up what I’ve been telling friends all along, Trump said he will announce and that it “will surprise everyone”. He runs, no surprise, he doesnt run, no surprise. BUT I will run as DEMOCRAT will be a surprise. Also accounts for his pro-gay remark (O is anti gay marriage) and other flip flops. Plus he desperately wants O out of office.. I say he primaries Obama and makes him 1) spend lots of money and 2) actually defend his views. Also does the MSM really want to make enemies with Trump?.. Ah, perfect storm and O will never see it coming.
Psst!
Did you read my entire post?
Evidently not. So, here it is again...
I confess. I did it. I voted for Perot in 1992.I...sent...them...a...MESSAGE! Damn right I did.
Boy, was that ever a mistake...
In other words, I've already mea culpaed.
I’m with you - I think they sent out a “feeler” for response.
A lot of people keep commenting on how Trump never had a follow-up act after the birth certificate was presented. One thing that’s overlooked is that until now (”until” because this may change with Orly’s latest cases) the courts have held that a person doesn’t have standing to legally challenge Obama unless they’re a competing candidate [That’s a very brief generalization, but pretty much the gist of the matter]. Until Trump declares, he has no reason to legally challenge Obama...but if he Does declare, he’ll have standing to question his eligibility.
I don’t think he should be written off so quickly. As for the matter of whether he’s Conservative - how many Republicans ARE conservative? That may be an admirable goal - but for now, I’ll settle for anyone that will achieve a new Administration...we can sort out the liberal/conservative part later, but I Don’t think Trump is part of the true enemy, which is the New World Order.
“Although in 2000, had Nader not run, Algore would have been the 43rd President.”
In hindsight the nation would likely have been better off if Gore had become President instead of Bush. The Republican Congress might have maintained fiscal discipline paired with a Democrat President from 2000 to 2004 instead of going on a wild spending spree with a Bush that couldn’t find his veto pen. Gore would not have gone into Iraq so we would still have Saadam in place to balance a militant Iran instead of the current situation where Iran will take over Iraq as soon as Obama pulls out the rest of the troops making the money and lives thrown into Iraq over the last 10 years a waste.
If Gore had been President in 2001, Obama would likely not be President today. Gore would have likely been a one term President, losing in 2004 due to a weak economy and a weak response to Islamic terrorism. If Gore had made it 2 terms, the people would be tired of the Democrats and we’d have a Republican today. Regardless, no Democrat other than Obama could have pulled off the things Obama has accomplished (health care, end to oil drilling).
Look at the list I compiled, post #2.
How many Democrats would even consider, for even a fraction of a second, voting for someone espousing those postions?
Happy to help!
Also, Trump has as big of an ego as Obama and could “fit” on a stage with him. Obama will not get away with talking down to Trump.
Trump's real surname "Drumpf" is German for "man with bad hair".
He is the spoiler Trojan Horse who will siphon off enough conservative voters to swing the election to Obama. Very likely funded by Soros.
Expect to see third party or independent candidates run in key Senate and House races as well. The Marxists are well funded and will run spoiler candidates in key race to shift the balance of power in the House prevent the Senate from switching parties. Expect to see Obama reelected in 2012 and Pelosi back as speaker in 2013 with Reid continuing in his Senate leadership role.
At best we are moving into a period of perpetual one party dominance. Worse case we will have an economic crisis and a permanent dictatorship.
That’s a pretty interesting theory.
I’ve insisted the BC issue is over. Maybe not.
You’re exactly right about the “standing” issue. Which is why most of these cases haven’t gone anyplace. McCain or Hillary both had the standing to challenge Obama on eligibility but chose not to.
And I believe Trump could demand a real, physical be submitted for authentication in a court of law, not some internet posted abstract. That’s been physically examined by NO ONE.
