I love hearing others childhood memories!

I have them of climbing trees, playing outdoor games until late, finding the largest water hole possible in the summer (with a long rope for swinging..woo-hoo), all day bicycle rides, picking cherries, tomatoes, peaches, cutting grapes and going home with a dollar was a BIG deal..we thought we were rich! Ahh...the good old days!

We had a sandstone dry creek (crick if your from Oklahoma):) running the length of our property in the back.

No parental unit could see us in there & when the rains came, depending on the rainfall it could run like a swift river.

Kudos to my parents...such a great place to be as a kid.

A couple hundred acres of cattle land beyond the back fence line. It was our playground.:)

Just had to be home by the time the street light came on.
