“The New York Times reported Friday that a small but influential group of GOP money men have provided the bulk of the financing for the advocacy umbrella group New Yorkers United for Marriage.

Big donors to the effort include Paul Singer, the chairman of the Manhattan Institute and a major donor to Republican political campaigns.

At some events supporting gay marriage, Singer has spoken of having a personal tie to the issue. He has a gay son who got married in Massachusetts.

Other backers include hedge fund manager Clifford Asness, who tells the Times his support is in line with his libertarian view of small government.”

So a libertarian view is to expand government because that is exactly what is required to support such a illogical idea as gay marriage? The whole gay/deviant rights troupe is about using government to force their view on others. Gay’s have never been forbidden from having private unions. They aren’t about getting the government out of their lives they are about using this issue to use government as their mob strongman to silence and intimidate their opponents and to totally obliterate ideas of freedom of association. It is not conservative or libertarian to believe that government must endorse or get involved with something for one to have the liberty to do something. Liberty and equality is not about getting the government more involved in our lives.

I think it is such a selfish view to support the gay agenda just because a son, daughter, newphew, whatever is homosexual. Does that give them the right to abuse and violate our children and make them as sexually confused as homosexuals? The whole movement is called the glbt—gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgendered. That encompasses a whole world of deviation and confusion.

“Beware those who call bad good and good bad”. I am sure someone on this thread knows the chapter and verse of this Bible verse, I cannot recall it at the moment.
