zero tolerance == lack of common sense.
that’s the whole point behind zero tolerance. You no longer are allowed to think or use common sense - you must enforce ‘zero tolerance’ for whatever it is.
Public schools are not safe for children or other living things. The bad far outweighs any good in public education today. The first step to fixing it is to abolish the Department of Education. The next is to eliminate forced union membership of teachers.
