Barack Obama regularly seeks advice from Fareed Zakaria, the CNN host and author of Post American World.

How would you feel if you knew the president regularly sought the advice of a magazine editor/columnist ad TV host? It’s true. According to CNN, Obama has made a habit of seeking “wisdom and advice” from host Fareed Zakaria.
In an interview with fellow CNN host Elliot Spitzer, Zakaria admitted Obama and him talk regularly about the Middle East and international policy, a point that Spitzer said makes his heart “warm:”

Zakaria is right. It is a Post-American world. In one fell swoop — including zillion-dollar deficits and socialized medicine — his hero Obama made us just like the rest of the decrepit industrialized world. There really is no difference.
