INDIANAPOLIS -- When the Indiana Republican Party found itself in a bind this spring, unable to lock down a high-profile keynote speaker for its big annual fundraising dinner, it was Gov. Mitch Daniels himself who came up with the solution: He'd get his wife, Cheri, to do it.
It was a bold move, considering that she had never given a high-profile speech before and generally has been reluctant to step onto the political stage. At the same time, her husband has been pondering a 2012 presidential bid (pondering it for the better part of 18 months, in fact) and the potential candidate himself has hinted that Cheri's the one person who could stop him -- because she's been described as uncomfortable about the intrusion such a campaign would have on their lives.

Mitch Daniels announced Friday he will sign a bill into law that prohibits the state's Planned Parenthood from receiving Medicaid or federal family planning money because the organization provides abortions. This money makes up about 20 percent of Planned Parenthood Indiana's budget, according to Indiana Planned Parenthood CEO Betty Cockrum.

It is a mad, mad, mad, mad, world and sometimes you need to settle for mediocrity, but IMOHO, the line is drawn with any member of the CFR on the ticket.
See my last post. I will say... that Daniels is the top dog pick of Independents for his fiscal economic knowledge, so maybe this is why they think he is not a social conservative. He could beat Obama but Condi as VP is not such a good choice.
Rice is not a political animal. This speculative B.S. is a non-starter.

I still have not read the LONG article to see why DRUDGE said he could pick Condi. The media is already twisting words with some hooters girl nickname joke so Daniels musn’t be too bad if the media are already attacking. Palin said she would be Romney’s VP and that’s ok to many on here. Like I said Mother Teresa could run from heaven and some would say no no no she is not Sarah. LOL
