Newt would be an excellent candidate if he didn't have Newt's hideous character.

The question is how many people would vote for Newt in the general election to keep the zer0 from ruling over us for another term?

Newt would be an excellent candidate if he didn't have Newt's hideous character. I'm not even sure that would be true. Gingrich seems to be an excellent person to go to for ideas and advice, but I don't really see him as having the qualities to make decisions -- he's an "idea guy" not an "decider".

The GOP will probably trot out Jeb Bush and Daniels for VP. Bush/Daniels. That would provide continuity to the Ponzi scheme and Glabalization in the event Obama self destructs.

Your time is past, Newt. Heck, even my barber thinks that. A barber whose shop has been in your old GA 6th District for more than 30 years.

If he's the nominee I'll vote for him!!! But he is definitely not my first choice. I really don't see him getting the nod but I guess it's possible. As for his personal indiscretions.. after Bill Clinton how could any one be held to any sort of standard?

Congressional Republicans failed to persuade the public to remove Mr. Clinton from office; this is a damning indictment of Mr. Gingrichs leadership.
Two articles were approved:
Article I charged that President Clinton "willfully provided perjurious, false and misleading testimony to the grand jury" on August 17, 1998 concerning his relationship with Monica Lewinsky and his attempts to cover it up.
The vote: 228-206 in favor (5 Democrats in favor, 5 Republicans against)
Article III charged that President Clinton "prevented, obstructed, and impeded the administration of justice" in order to "delay, impede, cover up, and conceal the existence of evidence and testimony" in the Paula Jones case by encouraging a witness to lie, by concealing evidence, and by trying to prevent truthful testimony by finding a job for Monica Lewinsky.
The vote: 221-212 in favor (5 Democrats in favor, 12 Republicans against)
'Twas the Senate that failed.

For the 10,000th time... I will not vote for anyone but a rock solid Conservative candidate... and I DECIDE what is and is not Conservative.
