That mercenary stuff was ragtag spin, and the AQ ragtags are mostly from Egypt, the hundreds of thousands of tribes back daffy. Hell without NATO jet breaking the law, daffy would have already won.

I agree. Without the air war, Gadaffi wins. But with NATO controlling the skies, Gadaffi loses. NATO seems committed to continuing the control of the skies and taking Misrata will only bolster their committment. In desert warfare, controlling the air is key. As for breaking the law, how exactly is NATO breaking the law?

WAR IS UGLY! Ghaddafi’s days are numbered, a bomb, bullet or something else will take him and his sons out. War is a grim and terrible thing that is why it must be rejected save as a last resort. This isn’t our fight—its the people of Libya’s fight. How does they old saying go? “Let he who would be free strike the first blow.”

I personally think that the US has no business there, so we agree. My comment is that for someone so interested in pursining the Arab Spring in Libya Obama sure is half-@ssing it.

He is proving this by hitting back at NATO with perhaps the one weapon he knows the European Union countries fear: an unrestricted flood of illegal immigrants.

How is that a threat? It's not like they can walk across the Med. Just sink the ships making the crossing.
