Iran Sent Banned Weapons to Syria, Says UN Report

More details were made available Thursday on the contents of a United Nations report which says that the Iranian regime is continuing to blatantly violate the sanctions which have been imposed on it.

According to CNN, the UN report says that Iranian weapons which have banned for export under Security Council resolutions are making their way to Iran's close ally, Syria.

According to the report, the UN’s expert panel found that Syria was the destination “of six out of the nine incidents of conventional arms transfers” by Iran that were discovered.

One such example, says the report, was reported by Turkish authorities who were inspecting a cargo plane that had stopped over in Turkey en route from Iran to Aleppo, Syria, in March.

Turkish authorities were quoted as saying that “Arms were found onboard in nineteen crates declared as ‘auto spare parts.’ They comprised 60 Kalashnikov rifles, 14 BKC (Bixi) machine guns, 7,920 rounds of Kalashnikov ammunition, 560 60 mm mortars and 1,288 120 mm mortars.”

The report also says that “It is likely that other transfers took place undetected and that other illicit shipments were identified but not reported to the committee.”

This calls for more sanctions, dammit! Let's ban Iranian petroleum exports, except for an "oil for food" program. Then we can report when they violate that, and also profit from it.

These weapons sound like light arms i.e. things guerrilla fighters would need.

All we need to do is light a match in the right location of Syria, and there goes the Middle East. It’s like the Memphis hub of weaponry.

Why, to sporting and hunting clubs in Syria, of course.

Syria seems to be getting a rather conspicuous pass concerning the recent islamic uprisings. I've read reports of over 10,000 arrested at one time. Other reports of death squads, etc. The media suppression of atrocities is quite stark.

Things policemen will need to go Tiananmen Square on demonstrators, too.

The 1930s are back.

The 2010's are here and now. Technology has its risks, just like every other human endeavor. Muslims are allowed to lie, the caveat that is 'hush hush', to non believers. Cell phone bombs by individuals were incomprehensible by most in the '30's.

All true, but the moral cowardice and perversity that prevailed then prevails now. Once again they’re pressuring a small country into giving up its sovereignty in exchange for an illusory piece (sic) that will really lead to a world war already in progress. Intellectuals continue to justify and sympathize with this new fascism, just as TS Eliot, Ezra Pound and HL Mencken did in their time. Jew hatred is ascendant. Violence sweeps the streets of European capitals and the college campuses, and nobody wants to talk about it, except the “intellectuals” to whom it’s all just peachy keen. Baby’s throat cut in Itamar? Servers her right for living there. Teenager murdered when his bus is shelled, the shooter was just trying to make a statement about how frustrated he was. Cowards and villains rule, and nobody’s innocent enough that their death upsets anyone that counts. And if they speak out, they’re not silenced, but ignored, so technically they have free speech.

The economic collapse that occurred then is at least comparable to what is occurring now, except that it seems the powers that be are not merely wrong, but have a death wish. They want The New Deal spending without putting the dollar on the gold standard, which must lead to Argentinian-style hyper inflation. They have massive unemployment and want porous borders with a green card lottery at the end of the Rio Grande rainbow. They keep saying that prosperity is just around the corner, even as they go around the corner and mug it.

Same was true then, but they pretend to only hate Jews, and then assert that that’s legitimate and justified. Always the case.

Continuing from 12.

In fact, that’s the strategy. Make everyone culpable by making them complicit in their hatred of Jews, either tacitly or actively, and then they feel justified for hating everyone else, for their “weakness” and “cowardice,” not to mention selfishness when they join in the looting and rapes, or do nothing to stop them.

Islam is at War with itself. They have no ‘pope’ to reform with/around. The entire religion is based on local power. ‘God’ tells the local imams to rape and execute.

So then what does Islamofascism want? The uncontested ability to live like that, with local Imams holding the power over life and death, and the dhimme cringing in fear, and the common believer possesses the thrill of occasional killing and raping sprees, as well as the promise of a f@#$# fest in the afterlife.
