Members of Navy SEAL team 6, the Special Operations unit responsible for killing Al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden in Pakistan last Sunday, have expressed concerns about their safety and the safety of their families now that details of the mission have been made public.
Speaking to Marines at Camp Lejeune Thursday, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said the concerns were expressed to him directly a week ago when he met with members of the unit to congratulate them on their mission. Gates said the SEALs were mainly focused on their families and worried they could be subject to retaliatory attacks.

In my personal opinion, this is a prime case of political concerns over-riding military operational secrecy, Obama needed, badly needed a foreign victory and this was it. Obama will claim victory and if the peons suffer, it is for the greater glory!

Given these Muslim seamen's loyalty to Islam, I question their intent and integrity should the identities of Team 6 Seals been compromised during transfer of OBL's body to the USS Carl Vinson.

I continue to believe that Obamao will eventually throw the SEALs under the bus to appease his international critics. Of course, he’ll maintain his BMOC standing, but the SEALs will be sacrificed to do it.
